Dr. Bassem Saber, PhD (French)

Dr. Bassem studied French language and literature in both Egypt and France and has over 20 years of invaluable experience teaching these subjects. He is also a prolific translator, having produced around 30 translations of classic French literary works, including the Arabic translation of La Chair et le Sang (Flesh and Blood), a novel by Nobel Prize-winning French author François Mauriac, published by Hamad bin Khalifa University Press. Additionally, he translated “The Underground Oven”, a collection of stories by Saudi writer Mohammed Rabi al-Ghamdi, from Arabic to French.
